      *The Advocacy Academy contains courses that are pre-approved by the Patient Advocate Certification Board for up to a total of 20.75 CEs for Board Certified Patient Advocates. Registered Nurses are also able to obtain continuing education contact hours. Provider approved by the  California Board of Registered Nursing Provider Number 17865, for 21 contact hours. Registration fees are non-refundable.

This program is for people who have worked in the health care system and have substantial background in caring for patients. Health care professionals such as nurses, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, physical therapists, pharmacists, and more are welcome to apply. We are looking for people who want to do meaningful, rewarding work while using their experience and expertise to transform their clients’ lives.
